Bradley Johnson, an Emmerdale star, and Sammie Johnstone, his girlfriend of two years, have announced their engagement.

Johnson shared the wonderful news on Instagram along with a photo of the couple following his passionate proposal in Rome.

The post included an emoji of a ring and the remark, “When in Rome……,” along with a close-up picture of the diamond ring outside the Colosseum.

The actor, who portrays Vinny Dingle on the ITV soap opera, received a barrage of congratulations from Emmerdale cast members on his tweet.

“I knew you would do it, my brother! Best wishes, Brad and Sammy! I love you so much, mate. Have fun!” Danny Miller, who plays Aaron, wrote, and Lisa Riley, Johnson’s on-screen mother, added, “BEST NEWS EVER!!!” Many congratulations.

Tracy’s actress Amy Walsh made the following comment: “Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bravos!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!!!! Very pleased for you, buddy,” I said, adding a heart emoji. “Oh my god!” Marlon actor Mark Charnock exclaimed. Happy for the two of you.”

Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Amy, has added her congratulations to the list of Emmerdale stars who have sent their well wishes. I understand where the budget for Emmerdale is going.”

Since 2019, Johnson has portrayed Vinny in the Dales. Notably, his persona wed Liv Flaherty prior to her tragic demise at the hands of the fierce winds that tore through the community.

In Friday’s (October 27) stunning episode, the Craig Reed storyline progressed, giving Vinny’s family a prominent part in the soap opera. In a suspenseful flashforward, the criminal who had attacked Lydia Dingle was discovered dead at Home Farm after the Dingle family got together to talk about exacting revenge.

A special week of episodes featuring the continuation of the much awaited murder mystery takes place when the Dingles gather at The Woolpack for a lock-in. Layers of deceit will be removed one by one, revealing the complex web of events leading up to Craig’s death through a series of flashbacks.
