On Coronation Street a few months earlier, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) got to know Dom, Eliza’s biological father (Savannah Kunyo).

She wanted to get to know Dom so much that Stu let him to visit Eliza despite her first concerns that he was terrible news.

Given how many times Dom has disappointed Eliza, it is unfortunate that he will not be receiving the Father of the Year award.

Eliza became outraged when Stu shared his opinions about Dom, and she made the decision to live with her father full-time.

An ardent In an attempt to get Dom to flip on Eliza, Stu then got in touch with a private investigator, hoping that man would be able to gather evidence against Dom.

Approaching, the PI tells Stu that she’s not been able to uncover any information about Dom.

Eliza is invited over by Stu for tea after he tells her to keep looking.

During their meal, Eliza confesses that she was given detention for dozing off in class after staying up late watching a scary movie, which infuriates Stu.

Later on in the week, Eliza’s black eye worries Stu and Yasmeen (Shelley King).

Eliza says she was hit in a Taekwondo lesson, but it’s nothing to be alarmed about.

But Felicity, the social worker, stops by to speak with Eliza because Stu is worried.

Yasmeen is surprised to learn that Stu called social services, but is Eliza concealing something?

Did Dom cause the damage himself?

Or did she actually injure herself during the exercise class?
